Recent releases have showed that we as a small developement company can’t test every configuration and thus bugs slip through our quality control.
Many users have helped us to narrow down those bugs (thank you very much) but now we want to make sure that the release version is bug free – we need some dedicated beta testers for this job.
If you are interested in helping us to make better software, please send an email with your application to iphone@rapidrabbit.de. We need the following information:
- your UDID (how to get it your UDID)
- which iDevice you are using
- which iOS you are using
You should speak english or german to participate.
Our biggest update for appbzr is available so far – unfortunately a very ugly bug has slipped through (it was introduced by another bugfix we added in the last minute, before uploading). Luckily it’s only a cosmetic bug – the app should work as intended.
We are working on a quick fix right now and hope that Apple will release it soon! We feel very sorry for any inconvenience.
Update: Version 1.1.1 is now available (thanks @ Apple)!
Here is the complete changelog:
New Features:
- new Search-API for better results
- Updated Apps – see which apps have been updated recently
- Recommended Apps – by Flurry AppCircle
- search button added to home screen
- new Design and support for retina display!
- spanish localization
Bugfixes:
- app no longer crashes with very long wish lists
- navigation bar no longer disappears randomly
- fixed a bug with dots in a search string
- “redirect to AppStore” now disappears correctly on multitasking devices
- badge is removed correctly on multitasking devices
An update for our appbzr is now available – it fixes many crashes and you can now see all screenshots of an app. However it seems that people sometimes have problems with the update. Please use the feedback option in the settings menu to tell us about it, don’t write it in your review. We can’t answer reviews and thus can’t solve your problem. So send us an email instead.
We have been busy in the meantime and nearly completed a much bigger update that should be available next week. Here is a short preview on what it will include:
- new improved search (should find many more apps and is easier to find)
- see the latest updated apps
- get AppCircle recommendations
- many bugfixes
It happens to the best – unfortunately we missed some bugs, when we released appbzr. We immediately started fixing them so we could upload an update today.
Here is the changelog:
1.01
- fixed a bug that lead to crashes when saving some apps on a list
- fixed a bug where some countries could not see app prices
- all screenshot of an app will now be shown
- some adjustments for compatibility with iOS 4
If you’re still having problems or want to see a feature in a later update, let us know!

- find out what’s popular right now with the hot apps section
- see the Top 100 of other countries
- get an overview of new apps
- search the AppStore from within the app

The Spray Can team needs you!
We need an official screenshot for our Spray Can app. Unfortunately we are not as talented as our fans.
So we decided to start a competition to determine the best sprayer among our fans.
Here is the deal:
- paint a graffiti with the newest version of our Spray Can
- choose any motif, background or colour
- save the picture and send it to iphone@rapidrabbit.de
The best pictures will be presented here and at our facebook page.
Our fans will then vote for their favourite, which will become the official screenshot (included in the iTunes store).
Please send your graffitis until April, 9th.
Due to some severe server issues yesterday, no app lists were available for our AppButler.
We worked throughout the night to get it running again. Now everything should be back to normal.
Another update is currently in review, which fixes many crash bugs our users reported to us. However the update got delayed by Apple – we don’t know whats the problem, but we hope to see it live soon.
We have listened to our fans again and released an update with new features. Some people had problems downloading the update – this was a problem of the AppStore. Try again now!
Here is a list of the new features:
- change the size of your spray jet
- you can now switch the outline on and off
- 2 new backgrounds added – a subway train and a concrete wall
You can access these new features by tapping the Spray Can icon while in paint-mode.
Check out our new “more apps” section, too!
As always we’d like to hear your opinion.
You can find the Spray Can in the AppStore, of course.
Version 2.1 of our popular Spray Can is now in review. Here is the changelog:
- new feature: undo-button – You can now undo every line in your painting. If you deleted your image accidentally you can undo this, too!
- new feature: share on twitter – You can now tag your twitter wall.
- new feature: share on facebook – Show your graffity to your friends on facebook
- The button for spraying is now smaller, while the button that closes the paint mode has become bigger. It should now be easier to switch between those modes.
Feel free to send us any feature requests!
