A new year has begun and the rapidrabbit team has made a plan for 2011. The good news – we want to improve the appbzr even further, making it the best app of its kind. The bad news -  we have more ideas than time to develope them.

That is why we want you to request your favorite feature. What do you think would make appbzr really stand out? What is needed to make this app perfect? Be as visionary as you like. This will help us to focus on features you really want.

Comment on this news or send your ideas to iphone@rapidrabbit.de. We are looking forward to your ideas.

Update
We have gained a lot and very detailed Feedback via comments and email. Thanks to everyone that participated. I’m sorry,  I can’t answer all suggestions, but we have read every comment and email and take your ideas into consideration. We now have a much better idea how you are using the app.

You can always send us more feedback or problems – just use the feedback button in the settings.

As you may have noticed already, Spray Can Update 3.1 is now available for download from the Apple AppStore. We have listened to our fans and integrated a favorites gallery. You can now see all the tags you have liked at one place. We also integrated a time scopes feature, where you can see the best or most commented picture of the week, month or all time! This should give a lot more variety and new artists get a chance to become popular.

We have a lot of ideas on how to improve the Spray Can – please support this development by removing the ads. It’s only $ 1 that will help us to spend more time on this awesome app! You can find the button in the settings menu.

If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the app, please let us know here.

If you haven’t already downloaded the new update for appbzr, you should really do so quickly to benefit from two new great features.

A screenshot is worth more than words:

search filter and swipe buttons

search filter and swipe buttons

You can now filter your search query for paid or free apps and with a swipe to the right the already known price drop and shopping-list buttons appear. This actually works in every app list (except your own lists). We hope that this will make it even faster and more convenient to put app on one of those lists.

Again we want to encourage you to get in touch with us – whether you have a problem, a suggestion or just want to show us your appreciation.
You can do so on several ways:

Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/appbzr
Email: iphone@rapidrabbit.de

Or just use the feedback button in the settings.

We have improved our server software and we think we have eliminated wrong price drops.

The problem was that some developers changed their prices for only an hour and we couldn’t update the prices fast enough. We implemented a new system that checks prices much more frequently and reliably. We think we have the fastes and most reliable system. If you find a wrong price, please let us know.

A new update that fixes the wrong news badges should arrive at the end of the week. A bigger update is being beta tested right now and is scheduled for mid december. We will give you a preview when the update is in review by Apple.

As always, keep us posted about your ideas, problems and suggestions.

Apple just released our update for the appbzr. We have fixed a problem with notifications (only sounds have been enabled for new users), so please check your settings.

You will now also get a badge whenever we post a news message in the news section. We want to stay in touch with you, so please comment here or write us an email.

We’d also appreciate it if you become a facebook fan:

Unfortunately a small bug slipped through in the latest appbzr version. Maybe you have already noticed, that the wrong list gets loaded when you are in the free section and “load more” apps. Instead of the free list, the paid list gets loaded.

We are very sorry for that. We are working on a fix and with Apples review times it should only take one week for version 1.3.1 to be released.

On a related note, we are still searching beta testers. So if you like to test our app and prevent such mishaps, please send us your UDID and a short application to iphone@rapidrabbit.de

We are happy to announce that version 1.3 of our appbzr has reached the AppStore. With this update we wanted to improve the user interface further. It should now be easier to reach the price drop list and the new shopping list should make it easier to remember apps for later. There are a lot more changes that make the appbzr faster and more polished (like the new icon loading).

Our designers also worked hard to improve the overall looks of the app.

What do you think of the new version? Any feedback and ideas are welcome.

You can check out the video on youtube.

Here is the complete changelog:

1.3
- new detail view design – press the arrows to see more options and text
- wish list is now price drop list and easier to find
- new shopping list – mark apps to buy later
- smoother icon loading
- new list design
- redesign of hot apps score
- new design for “my lists”
- jump to the top of a list by pressing the status bar
- you can now load more apps when you reach the end of a list

A rare bug occured in our push notification script today. Luckily we saw it just in time. However some price drop reminders are lost. We are very sorry for that.

We made sure that this won’t happen again. Please check your wish list – you may have missed a price drop.
